Ingredientsfor 4 servings
- 4 Bread slices
- 2 cup Onion — chopped
- 1 cup Flour
- 4 Green chilly
- 1 Egg
- 1/2 tsp Red chilly powder
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1/4 tsp Garam masala
- Curry leaves, to taste
- Oil — for frying
- Salt, to taste
- Water, to taste
Preparation
Step 1
Combine all the ingredients except oil to make a thick batter.
Step 2
Cut each bread slices into 4 pieces.
Step 3
Dip each bread pieces into the batter.make sure that the bread pieces are fully covered inthe batter.
Step 4
Heat the oil in a vessel and fry each sides till lightly browned.
Step 5
The hot and spicy bread onion pakoda is ready to serve.
Tip
Hard-boil the eggs first, then make shallow cuts on the surface before adding them to the gravy — this lets the masala flavour penetrate inside.
