5 Minutes Tomato Egg Curry
A and tasty dish that can be prepared in a jiffy. Working mothers and bachelors can note the dish that can be easily prepared with minimum ingredients.
Ingredientsfor 4 servings
- 2 nos Onions
- 3 nos Green chillies
- 1 small Ginger
- 3 nos Garlic cloves
- 3 nos Tomatoes
- 1 nos Egg
- Salt, to taste
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tsp Chilli powder
- Garlic powder — optional
- 1 tsp Mustard seeds
- 3 nos Round red dry chillies (Kollamulaku)
- 1 sprig Curry leaves
Preparation
Step 1
For preparing Tomato Egg Curry, fry onions, chillies, ginger and garlic in a little oil in a kadai or a pan.
Step 2
Add tomatoes and fry for sometime. Fry well so that the tomatoes are mashed well.
Step 3
Add all the masalas and salt and fry.
Step 4
Add little by little water and form a curry and then add egg into it(raw).
Step 5
Stir for sometime till the egg is cooked well.
Step 6
Season it with allow to crackleed mustard seeds, sauteed dry red chillies and curry leaves. Serve Tomato Egg Curry hot.the healthy dish with your family and loved ones.
Step 7
You could also boil sausage rings n add into this to make a different variety curry altogether!.
Tip
The oil separating from the masala is your signal that the base is properly cooked. Do not add the main ingredient before you see those pools of oil on the surface.
