Quick & Easy Chicken Balls
A robust chicken preparation where the meat absorbs a pounding of Kerala spices and slow-cooked onions. The curry leaves and coconut oil make it unmistakably from this part of the world.
Ingredientsfor 6 servings
- Chicken : 4 pieces
- Bread crumbs : 3 tsp
- Onion : 1 tsp
- Salt, to taste
- Oil, to taste
Preparation
Step 1
Cook chicken using salt and water.
Step 2
Then take out the flesh only and slice in to small pieces.
Step 3
Then grind the chicken with onion and bread crumbs.
Step 4
Then make it in to small balls, if u need you can add egg also.
Step 5
Then fry in hot oil the balls using a pan with oil.
Step 6
Wipe off excess oil.
Step 7
Serve while still hot with tea or coffee.
Tip
Marinate for at least 30 minutes if you can — the spices penetrate deeper and the chicken stays juicier.
