Pista Souffle
A home-style Kerala dish made with care and the kind of spice knowledge that comes from watching someone else cook it a hundred times. Each step matters, and the result is worth the effort.
Ingredientsfor 4 servings
- 2 nos Egg yolks
- 25 g Sugar
- 100 ml Boiled milk
- 2 tsp Gelatin
- 200 g Fresh cream
- 70 g Pista ice cream
- 2 nos Egg whites
- Sugar, to taste
Preparation
Step 1
Mix together egg yolk, sugar and boiled milk and add the double boiled gelatin.
Step 2
Add fresh cream and pista ice cream.
Step 3
Beat the egg and sugar together till it becomes fluffy.
Step 4
Add it to the above mixture.
Step 5
Keep in freezer for 1/2 hr or until it becomes set.
Step 6
Garnish with pistachios and cream.
Tip
