Nadan Kovakka Masala Fry

Ingredientsfor 4 servings
- 1 cup Kovakka
- 1 Onion
- 1 tsp Oil
- Salt, to taste
- 1 tsp Gram masala
Preparation
Step 1
Set a kadai over medium heat and pour in the oil add onions and Let it cook for 2 minutes.
Step 2
Add green chilies and cook for a minute.
Step 3
Add kovakka to this add little gram masala,salt and Stir everything together thoroughly Let it cook for 5 minutes in high flame with 1 cup water.
Step 4
After that give it a good stir and cook for another 2 minutes.
Tip
A heavy-bottomed pan or cast iron skillet gives you the best results for a proper Kerala fry. Thin pans burn the spices before the meat dries.
