Kerala Style Neymeen Fry
Neymeen fry is a tasty fish available through out south india.In english it is called seer fish.
Ingredientsfor 1 servings
- 1 Neymeen
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
- 1 tsp Chilli powder
- 1 tsp Pepper powder
- 1 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tsp Coriander powder
- 1 cup Coconut oil
Preparation
Step 1
After cleaning cut neymeen into pieces. Then marinate with chilli powder, turmeri powder, pepper powder, ginger garlic paste, coriander powder and salt.
Step 2
Keep it for 5 minutes.
Step 3
Pour oil into a kadai and heat it and fry neymeen in hot oil for 2 minutes.
Step 4
Once the fish becomes crispy turn to other side.
Step 5
When fish cooked completely we can take it out and keep it in a plate and serve hot.
Tip
A heavy-bottomed pan or cast iron skillet gives you the best results for a proper Kerala fry. Thin pans burn the spices before the meat dries.
