Egg Porichadhu
A fried egg is a cooked dish commonly made using a fresh hen's egg, fried whole with minimal accompaniments. Boiled eggs fried with hot and spicy masala tastes awesome.
Ingredientsfor 2 servings
- 5 Eggs
- 2 tsp Chilly powder
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1/2 inch Ginger
- 1 Clove Garlic
- Salt, to taste
- Water, to taste
- 1 cup Oil
Preparation
Step 1
Hard boil the eggs.
Step 2
Grind the ginger and garlic. Mix the ingredients 2-7 in plate.
Step 3
Marinate the eggs in it. Set aside for 10 minutes.
Step 4
Set a kadai over medium heat and pour in the oil and fry the eggs in it.
Step 5
Serve it with tea.
Tip
Frying the boiled eggs briefly before adding to the curry gives them a golden skin that holds up better in the gravy.
