Cookies With Jam Topping

Ingredientsfor 7 servings
- 2 cup All purpose flour Maida
- 2 tsp Baking powder
- 4 Dsp Butter
- 2 nos Egg beaten
- 4 Dsp Sugar — powdered
- 5 Dsp Any colored jam
Preparation
Step 1
For preparing cookies with jam topping, first sift together flour and baking powder.
Step 2
Rub butter into the flour and add eggs and sugar. Knead to a smooth dough.
Step 3
Make lime sized balls with the entire dough.
Step 4
Punch a hole in the top of each ball and fill it with jam.
Step 5
Arrange these balls in a greased tin and bake at 375 degrees till the outside becomes golden brown.
Step 6
Cookies with jam topping is ready.
