Yummy Yoghurt Cake
Curd cake is prepared by blending together yogurt, sugar, maida and other ingredients.
Ingredientsfor 3 servings
- ½ cup Curd — drained
- ½ cup Sugar
- 50 g Butter
- ½ tsp All purpose flour
- 1 tbsp Milk
- ¼ cup Coconut — grated
- 1 tsp Cocoa powder
- ½ Tspn Baking soda
- ½ tsp Vanilla essence
Preparation
Step 1
Melt butter in a pan and fry the coconut lightly. Allow to cool.
Step 2
Get a mixing bowl and add the fried coconut, remaining butter, drained curd, all-purpose flour, milk and sugar. Beat well for 5 minutes.
Step 3
Add vanilla essence, baking soda and coconut powder.
Step 4
Pour the mixture into a baking dish and Let it cook for 10 minutes in high mode.
Tip
Ghee quality matters enormously in traditional sweets. Use homemade ghee if you can — the flavour is incomparably richer.
