Varatty Dosa
A quick, satisfying dosa that needs minimal prep and delivers maximum crunch. Spread the batter thin for crispy edges, or thick for a softer, chewier centre. Pair with chutney and sambar.
Ingredientsfor 3 servings
- 1/2 glass Rice
- 1/2 glass Whole black gram tholi ulla uzhunu
- 1/2 glass Bengal Gram
- 1/2 glass Red gram
- 1/4 tsp Pepper whole
- 3 nos Onion small
- 5 nos Dry red chilly
- 1 Stem Curry leaves
- Salt as rqrd
Preparation
Step 1
Soak rice n all grams in water for 1 hour.
Step 2
Mix all the other ingredients n grind.
Step 3
Spread some oil in a dosa tawa n make dosas.
Step 4
Serve while still hot with chutneys or butter or sugar.
Tip
Spread the batter in a quick circular motion from the centre outward. Do not go back over areas you have already spread.
