Tuna Noodles
Straightforward Kerala cooking — good ingredients treated well, spiced with confidence, and served without pretence. The kind of food that tastes like someone's kitchen, not a restaurant.
Ingredientsfor 3 servings
- 2 Pkts Noodles
- 2 Cans Tuna
- 2 nos Eggs
- Seasoning powder or All spices powder A little
- Garam masala A pinch
- 1 small Carrot — grated
- 1 small Cauliflower — grated
- 1 tsp Soya sauce
- 2 tsp Oil
Preparation
Step 1
Cook noodles for 2 minutes.
Step 2
Drain and keep them aside.
Step 3
Beat eggs well and keep them aside too.
Step 4
Pour oil into a pan and heat it.
Step 5
Pou the beaten eggs into it and make chilly egg.
Step 6
Add seasoning powder which comes along with the noodles pack or you can add All spices powder with a pinch of garam masala.
Step 7
Add tuna and mix it well with the egg.
Step 8
Add grated carrots and cauliflower.
Step 9
Season it with soya sauce.
Step 10
Add noodles and Stir everything together thoroughly.
Step 11
Serve while still hot with Chilly sauce and Tomato sauce.
Tip
Hard-boil the eggs first, then make shallow cuts on the surface before adding them to the gravy — this lets the masala flavour penetrate inside.
