Tomato Chicken Rice
A one-pot rice dish that brings together grains, spices, and vegetables or meat in a single satisfying meal. The rice absorbs every flavour in the pot and comes out fragrant, colourful, and complete.
Ingredientsfor 3 servings
- 4 nos Tomato — ground
- 2 cup Basmati rice
- 3 tbsp Butter
- 3 Cloves Garlic
- 31/2 cup Water
- 2 small Chicken powder
- 1/4 cup Coriander leaves
Preparation
Step 1
For preparing tomato chicken rice, fry the garlic in oil.
Step 2
Add tomato and fry again.
Step 3
Add water and chicken powder to it and boil.
Step 4
When the water boils add the rice and Put the lid on and cook in low flame for 10 minutes.
Step 5
When the water drains and the rice is cooked well, add the coriander leaves, Stir everything together thoroughly and take it off the heat. Serve hot.
Tip
For each cup of rice, use slightly less water than usual when adding other liquid ingredients like coconut milk or stock.
