Tapioca Pudding/Kappa Pudding
Tapioca pudding is a sweet pudding that made with tapioca and milk. Tapioca pudding is one of those comfort foods that conjures up happy childhood memories. It’s actually really easy to make.
Ingredientsfor 6 servings
- 250 g Tapioca
- 500 Milk
- 1 cup Sugar
- Condensed milk half cup
- 50 g China grass
Preparation
Step 1
Cook the tapioca in water until it turn soft and smash it with a wooden spoon.
Step 2
Heat milk in a pan,once it comes to boil add sugar and condensed milk.
Step 3
Dissolve the china grass in some hot water and pour it in to boiling milk.
Step 4
Pour the milk mixture into smashed tapioca and Stir everything together thoroughly.
Step 5
Pour it into a tray and refrigerate it for 3-4 hours.
Step 6
Tapioca pudding/kappa pudding is ready to serve.
Tip
Let the dish rest for a few minutes after cooking. Flavours settle and meld during this time, and the texture often improves.
