Ingredientsfor 5 servings
- 1 nos Coconut
- 1 nos Onion — chopped
- Ginger — chopped
- 2 nos Green chillies
- 1 tsp Turmeric powder
- Salt, to taste
- 2 tbsp Oil
Preparation
Step 1
Grind the grated coconut to a fine fine paste and extract milk and set aside.
Step 2
Can also use the canned coconut milk.
Step 3
Pour oil into a pan and heat it or a kadai.
Step 4
Cook onions, ginger and green chilly in it till they goes golden brown.
Step 5
Add the turmeric powder and Stir everything together thoroughly.
Step 6
Turn off the stove and add the entire coconut milk and allow to cool.
Step 7
Once cool, add salt according to taste.
Step 8
Goes well with idiappam or palappams.
Tip
