Steamed Egg Stuffed Chicken
Steamed egg stuffed chicken is a veriety spicy egg fry with some chicken masala filling.Here I steam cook the eggs in idli mould,so that kids will attract its shape and they love to eat it.We can prepare this simple recipe when we have leftover chick.
Ingredientsfor 4 servings
- 250 g Boneless Chicken
- 1 large Onion
- 4 Egg
- 2 Green chilly
- 1/2 tsp Ginger garlic paste
- 1+1 tsp Pepper powder
- 1/2+1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- Coriander leaves, a few
- Curry leaves, a few
- Salt
- Oil — for frying
- For marinating the egg
- 1 Red chilly powder
Preparation
Step 1
Cook the chicken with pepper powder,turmeric powder,salt and water as needed.Mince the cooked chicken and set aside.
Step 2
Warm the oil in a pan and cook onion.
Step 3
When it turns to lightly browned,add chopped green chilly,ginger garlic paste and cook again for 2-3 minutes again.
Step 4
Add pepper powder,turmeric powder,salt,chopped coriander leaves, curry leaves and minced chicken.Fold everything together gently and take it off the heat.
Step 5
Grease the idli mould with some oil,crack the eggs carefully and drop one by one in the idli mould.
Step 6
Add 1 tsp chicken masala filling on each egg top.
Step 7
Steam Let it cook for 5 minutes.let it cool and take it off the heat.
Step 8
Marinate the steamed egg stuffed chicken.
Step 9
Pan-fry it in hot oil.
Step 10
Steamed egg stuffed chicken is ready.
Tip
Do not boil the curry hard after adding coconut milk. A gentle simmer is all you need — vigorous boiling can cause the coconut milk to split.
