Steamed Banana Pudding
A home-style Kerala dish made with care and the kind of spice knowledge that comes from watching someone else cook it a hundred times. Each step matters, and the result is worth the effort.

- 3 nos Banana
- 2 nos Eggs
- Ghee, to taste
- Cashew nuts, to taste
- Dates/Cherries, to taste
Preparation
Step 1
For preparing steamed banana pudding, steam the bananas with the skin. Allow it to cool and then peel the skin.
Step 2
Smash the banana with eggs into a smooth paste.
Step 3
Grease a plate with ghee and put the banana mix in it. Spread it evenly.
Step 4
Fry the cashew nuts in ghee and spread it on the banana mix.
Step 5
Then spread the dates/cherries on the top of the banana mixture.
Step 6
Steam it in an idly vessel for 10 minutes.
Step 7
Allow it to cool.
Step 8
Steamed banana pudding is ready. Cut and serve.
