Spicy Pickled Pineapple
Whenever you want to eat something spicy and good you can prepare this wonderful pickled pineapple recipe which brings back my childhood and college memories.
Ingredientsfor 4 servings
- 6 slice Pineapple
- 4 Slit Bird eye chilly
- Salt, to taste
- 1/2 cup Vinegar
- 1 cup Drinking water
Preparation
Step 1
Slice the pineapple.
Step 2
Get a glass container and pour drinking water,sliced chilly and enough salt.
Step 3
Add sliced pineapple.
Step 4
Pour vinegar and close the jar.
Step 5
Now the Spicy pickled pineapple is ready.use within one week.
Tip
Mustard oil needs to be heated to smoking point and then cooled before adding to the pickle. This removes its pungent raw flavour.
