Special Tomato Moru Curry
It is a tasty curry with tomatoes and curd.It is good curry we can eat with white rice.
Ingredientsfor 1 servings
- 1 tsp Coconut oil
- 2 Red chilli
- 1 tsp Mustard
- 5 Curry leaves
- 5 Tomato
- 1 cup Curd
- 1 cup Coconut — grated
- Salt, to taste
- 1 tsp Chilly powder
- 1 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tsp Fennel seeds
- 1/2 cup Butter milk
Preparation
Step 1
First boil tomatoes with 1 cup water.
Step 2
Add green chilly and salt to this and let it bubble for 5 minutes.
Step 3
Grind coconut,cumin seeds,onion,chilly powder and turmeric powder in a mixer.
Step 4
Add this ground mix to tomato mix.
Step 5
Add butter milk to this.
Step 6
Stir everything together thoroughly and boil for a minute.
Step 7
Heat the oil in another kadai add mustard's,when it allow to crackles add fennel seeds,curry leaves and red chilly,cook for a minute.
Step 8
Add this tempering to tomato curry.
Step 9
Now special tomato moru curry is ready.
Tip
Coconut oil and curry leaves at the very end, off the heat, give the curry its characteristic Kerala aroma. Never skip this final step.
