Special Biryani Rice
Do you need a simple version of biriyani preparation, then here it is for you. A mild flavored, aromatic dish with an extraordinary tasty biriyani. The chicken pieces are cooked in a aromatic masala gravy and added with rice.
Ingredientsfor 6 servings
- 4 cup Basmati rice
- 8 cup Water
- 2 nos Full chicken — cut into small pieces
- 2 tsp Ghee
- 5 - Green chillies
- 4 - Onion big
- 2 - Tomatoes
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1/2 tbsp Chilly powder
- Salt, to taste
- 1 cup Curry leaves
Preparation
Step 1
Heat the ghee in a vessel.
Step 2
Fry onions, till golden brown.
Step 3
Add turmeric powder, chilly powder, salt and green chillies.
Step 4
Add the tomatoes and Stir everything together thoroughly.
Step 5
Cook for about 2 - 5 minutes.
Step 6
Add the chicken and Stir everything together thoroughly.
Step 7
Cook again for about 15 - 20 minutes, till the chicken is half soft.
Step 8
Add the rice and water and Stir everything together thoroughly.
Step 9
Add the curry leaves.
Step 10
Cook, till the water gets dried up and the rice is well cooked. Serve hot.
Tip
Marinate for at least 30 minutes if you can — the spices penetrate deeper and the chicken stays juicier.
