Soya 65-Nano Soya Chunks Fry
Soya 65-Nano Soya Chunks Fry or meal maker fry is a popular dry curry recipe with soya chunks. it is typically served as a side dish to roti, chapathi and even with steamed rice with combination dal or rasam.
Ingredientsfor 4 servings
- 100 g Soya chunks
- 1 tbsp Red chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1/4 tsp Garam masala powder
- 1 tbsp Corn flour
- 1/2 tbsp Rice flour
- 1 tsp Lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp Pepper powder
- Salt, as needed
- 1 Handfull Curry leaves
- 4 tbsp Oil
Preparation
Step 1
Soak soya in hot water for 20 minutes.Then wash well two three times and squeeze the water.
Step 2
Marinate the soya in Turmeric powder,red chilly powder,garam masala,corn flour and salt to taste.
Step 3
Set aside for minimum half an hour.
Step 4
Now heat a kadai and add coconut oil.To that add marinated soya and one hand full of curry leaves.
Step 5
Roast in medium flame till it turns to nice brown in colour. Spicy soya 65 is ready.
Tip
A heavy-bottomed pan or cast iron skillet gives you the best results for a proper Kerala fry. Thin pans burn the spices before the meat dries.
