Simplest Wheat Dosa In 3 Steps
A quick, satisfying dosa that needs minimal prep and delivers maximum crunch. Spread the batter thin for crispy edges, or thick for a softer, chewier centre. Pair with chutney and sambar.
Ingredientsfor 2 servings
- 1 cup Wheat flour
- 2 Full Grated coconut
- Salt, to taste
- 1¼ cup Warm water
Preparation
Step 1
Place wheat flour, grated coconut and salt in a vessel.
Step 2
Gradually add water and keep stirring until the wheat dissolves completely in the water.
Step 3
Heat a griddle, add 1 tsp of ghee, pour a ladle full of batter onto it and spread it thinly and fry both the sides.
Step 4
Your Simplest Wheat Dosa is ready!
Tip
Spread the batter in a quick circular motion from the centre outward. Do not go back over areas you have already spread.
