Simple Vegetable Dosa
A quick, satisfying dosa that needs minimal prep and delivers maximum crunch. Spread the batter thin for crispy edges, or thick for a softer, chewier centre. Pair with chutney and sambar.
Ingredientsfor 2 servings
- Dosa batter
- Vegetables
- Peas, Carrots, Beans, Tomato, to taste
- 5 - Green chilles
- Coriander leaves A, a few
- Salt, to taste
Preparation
Step 1
Cut all vegetables into very small cubes.
Step 2
Half boil these vegetables in a vessel.
Step 3
Boiling the vegetables helps for easy digestion.
Step 4
Add these vegetables into the dosa batter.
Step 5
Add green chillies and coriander leaves.
Step 6
Season with salt and Stir everything together thoroughly.
Step 7
Heat dosa tava.
Step 8
Spread a little oil on the tava.
Step 9
Make dosa like the regular ones.
Step 10
Cook both the sides of the dosa.
Step 11
Goes well with tomato chutney.
Tip
Spread the batter in a quick circular motion from the centre outward. Do not go back over areas you have already spread.
