Simple Karkidaka Kanji
A medicinal kanji prepared during the month of Karkidakom, which falls during the rainy season in Kerala. Consumption of Karkidaka Kanji is a monsoon regimen followed traditionally in Kerala.

- 10 g Aashaali
- 25 g Fenugreek seeds (Uluva)
- 100 g Unakkalari
- Coconut — grated
- Ghee, to taste
- Water, to taste
Preparation
Step 1
For preparing simple karkadaka kanji, cook aashaali, fenugreek seeds and unakkalari with required water.
Step 2
Simple karkadaka kanji is ready. Serve with coconut and ghee.
