Simple Dates Smoothie
A refreshing drink that cools you down on a hot Kerala afternoon. Made with fresh ingredients and served chilled, it is the kind of thing you keep refilling without realising.

- Dates : 3 nos
- Cashew : 3 nos
- Badam : 3 nos
- Sugar, to taste
- Milk : 2 tsp
- Curd : ½ tsp
Preparation
Step 1
Deseed the dates(if seeded ones are used), keep the ingredients ready.

Blend it all.
Step 4
Transfer into a glass and refrigerate for an hour.
Step 5
Serve. Add some more nuts if desired.
Tip
Do not rush the onion and shallot frying. The difference between pale onions and properly browned onions is the difference between a flat dish and a flavourful one.
