Simple Chicken
Chicken with nice spicy masala. Gives a nice aroma while cooking.
Ingredientsfor 3 servings
- 250 g Chicken — cubed
- 1 nos Onion
- 1 nos Tomato
- Ginger garlic paste - 2 tsp
- Coriander leaves, a few
- 1 tsp Garam masala
- 2 tsp Chilly powder
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric
- 1 tsp Pepper
- 1 tsp Coriander powder
- 4 nos Green chillies — chopped
- Curry leaves, a few
- Salt, to taste
Preparation
Step 1
For preparing simple chicken, first marinate chicken with salt and lime juice.
Step 2
Grind onion, tomato, ginger-garlic, garam masala, chilly powder, turmeric, coriander powder and coriander leaves.
Step 3
Heat a pan, add green chillies and curry leaves. Add the masala and fry. Add chicken pieces and cover it.
Step 4
Add very little water and cook chicken.
Step 5
When done, fry it in very low flame and make a dry fry.
Step 6
Simple chicken is ready.
Tip
Do not boil the curry hard after adding coconut milk. A gentle simmer is all you need — vigorous boiling can cause the coconut milk to split.
