Roasted Masala Crab Curry
The kerala style roasted masala crab curry is very special and mouth watering side dish serve with cooked rice,chappati,roti etc.once you have this i bet you will make it always.roasted masala crab currys taste will linger on your taste buds always.
Ingredientsfor 3 servings
- 250 g Crab
- 1 large Onion
- 2 Tomato
- 4 Green chilly
- Ginger small pc
- 1 Clove Garlic
- 3 tsp Coriander powder
- 1 tsp Red chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp Fennel seed
- Coriander leaves, to taste
- Curry leaves, to taste
- Salt, to taste

Preparation
Step 1
Dry roast the masala for 5 minutes in low flame.
Step 2
Cut the veggies and keep it ready.
Step 3
Heat the oil in a vessel and add fennel seed,when it crackle add onion,tomato,ginger,garlic,green chilly and salt to taste.cook it, stirring for 10 minutes.
Step 4
Add roasted masala and 2 cup water.let the curry boil.
Step 5
Add crab,cover the top and cook it again for 10 minutes or until it done.
Step 6
Serve the crab curry with bread or rotti.this crab curry goes well with steamed rice.
Tip
The oil separating from the masala is your signal that the base is properly cooked. Do not add the main ingredient before you see those pools of oil on the surface.
