Gram flour with other ingredients - Ribbon Pakoda - Festive snack.
Ingredientsfor 3 servings
- 2 cup Gram flour/Besan
- 1/4 tsp Baking powder
- 1/4 tsp Omam/Ajwain/Carom seeds
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- Sesame seeds, as needed
- Oil, to taste
- Salt, to taste
Preparation
Step 1
For preparing ribbon pakoda, knead together all the ingredients with required water.
Step 2
Make small balls out of the dough and roll into a chapathi. Cut ribbon shaped pieces and fry it in oil.
Step 3
Ribbon pakoda`s are ready.
Tip
Oil temperature is critical. Too hot and the outside burns before the inside cooks. Too cool and the snack absorbs oil and turns soggy.
