Rava Halwa

- 2 cup Rava
- 1 cup Warm milk
- 1 cup Warm water
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 cup Ghee
- ½ tsp Cardamom Powder
- Cashews and Raisins
Preparation
Step 1
Roast rava in a tawa.
Step 2
Add ghee and roast till rawa is brown in colour.
Step 3
Add sugar, cardamom powder, milk and water.
Step 4
Stir everything together thoroughly.
Step 5
Put the lid on and cook till the mixture is dry.
Step 6
Garnish with raisins and cashews.
Tip
Ghee quality matters enormously in traditional sweets. Use homemade ghee if you can — the flavour is incomparably richer.
