Rava Cookies
A traditional preparation from Kerala that balances flavour, texture, and aroma in the way that only home cooking can. No two households make it exactly the same, and that is the point.

- 5 tbsp Sugar — powdered
- 4 nos Cardamom — powdered (Elakka)
- 1/2 cup Coconut — grated
- 1/2 cup Water or milk
- Oil — for frying
Preparation
Step 1
Mix together rava, sugar, coconut and water/milk.
Step 2
Knead them to make a dough.
Step 3
Make balls off the above dough.
Step 4
Flatten them(like small cutlets).
Step 5

Tip
Do not rush the onion and shallot frying. The difference between pale onions and properly browned onions is the difference between a flat dish and a flavourful one.
