Rava Cake-Semolina Cake With Eggs
There are several variations and flavours to this semolina cake,here im going to make a simple Semolina-Rava cake with eggs.The cake contains rava,eggs,maida and sugar.An aesthetic touch of cardamom makes it a yummiest cake ever!! :-).
Ingredientsfor 6 servings
- 100 g Semolina
- 4 Egg
- 100 g Sugar
- 2 tbsp Maidha
- 1/2 tsp Cardamom powder
- 10 nos Cashew nuts and raisins
- 1 tbsp Ghee
- Salt pinch
Preparation
Step 1
Dry roast semolina for 10 minutes in low flame.
Step 2
Beat eggs with sugar,cardamom powder and salt until fluffy.
Step 3
Add roasted semolina and maidha,Stir everything together thoroughly with a spoon.
Step 4
Heat ghee in a saucepan and pour the cake mixture into it.close the lid and cook it 10 minutes.
Step 5
After 10 minutes garnish it with ghee roasted cashew nuts and raisins.cover the top and cook it again for 15 minutes in very low flame.
Step 6
Now the Semolina cake is ready.
Tip
When working with jaggery, always melt and strain it first. Even the best quality jaggery has some grit that needs to be removed.
