Prawns Roll Easy
Minced prawn filling placed in a bread roll and later deep fried.
Ingredientsfor 2 servings
- 125 g Prawns washed and cleaned, Chemmeen
- 1/4 cup Onion — finely chopped
- 1/2 tsp Garlic — crushed
- 1/2 tsp Pepper powder
- 5 nos Bread slices
- 1/2 tsp Soya sauce
- Coriander leaves — chopped
- Oil, to taste
- Salt, to taste
Preparation
Step 1
For preparing prawns roll, first mince the prawns in a grater and set aside.
Step 2
Next, steam the bread slices after removing the bread crusts and set aside.
Step 3
Place a pan on the stove and pour little oil. Add crushed garlic and fry for a while.
Step 4
Add finely chopped onion, pepper powder, soya sauce and cook for sometime.
Step 5
Add minced prawns, coriander leaves, required salt and Stir everything together thoroughly.
Step 6
Get a steamed bread, place prawn filling in the center and roll lengthwise. Press and paste the ends. Repeat making prawns roll with the remaining bread slices.
Step 7
Get a frying pan and heat required oil for frying. fry in hot oil the prawns roll in hot oil until golden in color.
Step 8
Prawns roll is ready. Serve hot with ketchup.
Tip
Seafood cooks in minutes. The single biggest mistake is overcooking — the moment fish turns opaque or prawns curl and go pink, they are done.
