Prawns Masala Ada

Ingredientsfor 6 servings
- 2 cup Rice flour
- 250 g Prawns
- 2 nos Onion
- 1 tsp Ginger — chopped
- 1 tsp Garlic — chopped
- 3 nos Green chilly — chopped
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- 2 tsp Red chilly powder
- Garam masala Pinch
- Curry leaves, to taste
- Coriander leaves, to taste
- 2 tbsp Oil
- Salt, to taste
Preparation
Step 1
For preparing prawns masala ada, marinate the cleaned prawns with chilly powder, turmeric powder, garam masala and salt. fry in hot oil it in oil.
Step 2
Heat 2 tbsp oil in a vessel and cook onion, ginger, garlic, green chilly with 1/4 tsp turmeric powder until it gets lightly browned.
Step 3
Add fried prawns into it.
Step 4
Add curry leaves and cook it, stirring again for 2 minutes.
Step 5
Knead the rice flour with salt and water as needed.
Step 6
Get a medium sized ball from the kneaded dough and press it on a banana leaf. Spoon in the masala into it and fold it.
Step 7
Steam Continue cooking for 20 to 30 minutes.
Step 8
Serve it as an evening snack, for breakfast, for dinner or while breaking fast.
Tip
The binding point is everything — cook the mixture just until it holds shape when pressed. Overcooked, it turns hard; undercooked, it crumbles.
