Potato Omelette
A home-style Kerala dish made with care and the kind of spice knowledge that comes from watching someone else cook it a hundred times. Each step matters, and the result is worth the effort.
Ingredientsfor 1 servings
- 2 nos Eggs
- 2 nos Potato medium
- 2 nos Green chillies — chopped
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- 1 nos Onion chopped, Small
- 1 tsp Ginger — chopped
- 1 tsp Garlic — chopped
- 1 nos Tomato deseeded & chopped, medium
- 1 tbsp Vegetable oil
Preparation
Step 1
Peel potato & cut into thin round slices.
Step 2
Beat egg with salt and pepper & set aside.
Step 3
Set a pan over medium heat and pour in the oil.
Step 4
Add slices of potatoes and toss it.
Step 5
Allow it to cook on a low flame.
Step 6
Turn sides when the bottom of slices become light brown.
Step 7
Pour beaten egg mixture and top up with rest of the ingredients & cook on low heat.
Step 8
After egg is set, turn the egg and cook again until done.
