Plain Boiled Rice

- 1 cup Rice — washed
- 2 cup Water
- Salt, to taste
Preparation
Step 1
For preparing plain boiled rice, mix together rice, water and salt.
Step 2
Allow it to cook in a covered vessel until the rice is tender.
Step 3
Plain boiled rice is ready.
Step 4
NOTE: 1)In case you are cooking the rice in a pressure cooker, cook up to 2 whistles.
Tip
Soak the rice for at least 20 minutes before cooking. This ensures even cooking and prevents the grains from breaking.
