Pineapple Jam
It is the perfect combination bread and will be loved by kid. It is healthy too.
Ingredientsfor 4 servings
- 1 nos Pineapple
- 2 cup Sugar or
- 2 – Lemon Juice
Preparation
Step 1
Peel the Pineapple and cut it into small pieces.
Step 2
Grind the pieces well in a mixer.
Step 3
Boil the grinded Pineapple in medium flame.
Step 4
Add lemon juice and Sugar also and stir it well.
Step 5
When the grinded pineapple turns into paste form and the colour into golden, turn off the heat and allow to cool the paste (Jam) well.
Step 6
Pineapple Jam is ready and it can be served with bread/Chappathi etc. If this jam is kept in an air tight glass jar and store in refrigerator properly it can be used for about one or more months.
Tip
Coconut oil is the default cooking fat in Kerala kitchens. It adds a depth of flavour that other oils simply cannot match in these recipes.
