Pazham Stew
A gentle, coconut milk-based stew with soft vegetables and whole spices floating in a pale, fragrant broth. Kerala stew is quiet comfort food — not loud with chilli, but warm with cardamom and black pepper.
Ingredientsfor 1 servings
- 4 nos Big ripe banana Nenthrapazham
- 2 cup Milk
- 5 tbsp Sugar
- 1/2 cup Water
Preparation
Step 1
Cut ripe banana into round pieces.
Step 2
Place them along with water and sugar in a vessel.
Step 3
Keep this on medium heat and boil it.
Step 4
Once the banana turn soft, pour milk into it and cook well.
Step 5
Stir it occassionally and when the gravy gets thickened, take it off the heat.
Step 6
Serve it with chappathi, appam, idiyappam etc.
