Pazham Nirachathu-Delicious Banana Filled With Sweet Mix
Pazham nirachathu is a very popular malabar dish.it is a sweet and simple snack,it is also made with some easy available ingredients.
Ingredientsfor 4 servings
- 4 Rip Banana
- 1 cup Coconut
- 25 g All purpose flour
- 1 cup Sugar
- Cardamom powder pinch
- 10 Cashew nuts
- 10 Raisins
- Salt, to taste
- Oil, to taste
- Water, to taste
Preparation
Step 1
Heat the grated coconut,sugar,cashew,raisins,cardamom powder.keep sauteing for 5 minutes.remove from the stove end set aside.
Step 2
Mix all purpose flour with salt and little water to make a soft dough.
Step 3
Make small chapathis out of it.
Step 4
Peel the banana and make a shallow slit length wise.
Step 5
Thickly fill the mixture into the slit made in bananas.
Step 6
Cover it in chapathis and fry it in hot oil until lightly browned.
Step 7
Pazham nirachathu is ready to serve.
Tip
When working with jaggery, always melt and strain it first. Even the best quality jaggery has some grit that needs to be removed.
