Paruppu Thogayal - Brahmin Special
Tuvar dal, red chillies, coconut and other ingredients are ground together.

- 4 tbsp Tuvar dal
- 2 nos Red chillies
- 1 cup Coconut — grated
- 2 tsp Coconut oil
- Salt, to taste
Preparation
Step 1
For preparing paruppu thogayal - brahmin special, first roast tuvar dal and red chilly in coconut oil for few minutes.
Step 2
Grind the roasted items with grated coconut by sprinkling water so as to retain the semisolid state of the mixture. Add salt.
Step 3
Paruppu thogayal - brahmin special recipe, is ready. This can be used side as side dish when vethakozambu is made.
Tip
Fresh curry leaves make a genuine difference. Dried curry leaves are a poor substitute — if you cannot get fresh ones, increase the quantity and fry them longer.
