Palkatti
A sweet dish prepared from milk. The lovable delicacy is a favorite with kids and is healthy for them. unique and tasty and is prepared by blending together milk and coconut milk with other ingredients.
Ingredientsfor 4 servings
- 11/2 cup Coconut milk
- 1 cup Milk
- 2 cup Sugar
- 1 tsp Butter
- 2 - Vanilla essence
- Salt, to taste
Preparation
Step 1
For preparing Palkatti, mix together coconut milk and cow's milk in a vessel.
Step 2
Bring to a rolling boil.
Step 3
Add sugar and a bit of salt and Stir everything together thoroughly.
Step 4
Stir, till it thickens.
Step 5
Add vanilla essence to a drop of water and mix the same with the mixture.
Step 6
Pour the mixture into a buttered vessel.
Step 7
Cut Palkatti into shapes as desired.
Step 8
This should be done before the mixture cools.
