Onion Rings

Ingredientsfor 3 servings
- Maida : 1 cup
- Onion : 2 nos
- Chilly powder : 1 tsp
- Pepper powder : 1 tsp
- Egg : 1 no
- Salt, to taste
- Oil : to fry
Preparation
Step 1
In a cup take maida.
Step 2
Cut onion in circle fashion and separate the layers.
Step 3
Mix pepper and chilly powder and salt with maida.
Step 4
Add the egg and mix it well.
Step 5
Form a thick paste.
Step 6
Dip the onion and coat the rings completely with paste.
Step 7
Fry it in oil.
Step 8
Serve while still hot with sauce or chutney.
Tip
Hard-boil the eggs first, then make shallow cuts on the surface before adding them to the gravy — this lets the masala flavour penetrate inside.
