Nadan Gothambu Puttu
The is very popualr breakfast in Kerala.It is a heathier breakfast too.
Ingredientsfor 2 servings
- 1 cup Wheat flour
- 1/2 cup Water
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/4 cup Coconut — grated
Preparation
Step 1
Mix wheat flour with salt and water,keep it for 5 minutes aside.
Step 2
Then take a put maker add1tsp grated coconut and then add the mixed wheat flour to this puttu maker.
Step 3
On the top we have to add little more grated coconut.
Step 4
Close with lid and steam for 5 minutes.
Step 5
Now gathambu puttu is ready to serve.
Tip
Coconut oil is the default cooking fat in Kerala kitchens. It adds a depth of flavour that other oils simply cannot match in these recipes.
