Mutta Bajji
Crispy, golden, and gone before they cool down — these fried snacks are the kind of thing that appears with evening tea and disappears within minutes. Best eaten hot, right out of the oil.
Ingredientsfor 2 servings
- 2 nos Egg
- 1/2 cup Besan flour
- 1 small Kaayam podi
- 1/2 Spoon Chilly powder
- 1/2 Spoon Pepper powder
- 1/4 Spoon Turmeric powder
- Salt for taste
- Oil — for frying
Preparation
Step 1
Boil the eggs and cut into half pieces.
Step 2
Nicely spread pepper powder on the eggs and set aside.
Step 3
In a bowl mix besan flour along with kaayam,chilli,turmeric powder and salt.
Step 4
Get the egg and dip in mixed flour and fry in hot oil. Serve hot!
Tip
Frying the boiled eggs briefly before adding to the curry gives them a golden skin that holds up better in the gravy.
