Mussels Onion Pakoda
If you are a fan of indian food then no doubt you are familiar with pakodas.pakodas are prepared in different ways like onion pakoda,bread pakoda,mixed veg pakoda etc.mussels onion pakoda is different from all of this and it tastes delicious.
Ingredientsfor 4 servings
- 10 Mussels
- 1 cup All purpose flour
- 3 large Onion
- 3 Green chilly
- 3/4 tsp Chilly powder
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp Garlic paste
- Oil — for frying
- Water, to taste
- Coriander leaves little
Preparation
Step 1
Clean and chop the fresh mussels.
Step 2
Get sliced onion,mussels,garlic,turmeric powder,chilly powder,salt and combine it well with your hand.
Step 3
Add all purpose flour,coriander leaves and water little by little and mix all the ingredients coated well with flour batter.do not add more water unless required.
Step 4
Warm the oil in a pan and take small portion of mixture in a spoon and gentlu drop 4-5 fritters in to the oil.fry in hot oil until they become golden brown.
Step 5
Mussels onion pakoda is ready.serve it with a hot tea.
Tip
Drain on a wire rack instead of paper towels — the rack keeps the bottom from getting steamy and losing its crispness.
