Mushroom Roast
This is an easy and quick mushroom recipe that can be made with just mushrooms and few indian spices.Now let's go through the step by step photos of mushroom sabzi recipe.
Ingredientsfor 1 servings
- 150 g Mushroom
- 2 Onion
- Curry leaves, a few
- 1 Tomato
- 2 Chilly
- 1 tbsp Ginger garlic — crushed
- 1 cup Coconut milk
- 1 tbsp Coconut
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 1/2 tsp Coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp Chilly powder
- Curry leaves
Preparation
Step 1
Clean and cut the mushroom into small pieces.
Step 2
Add all the spice powders and salt one by one into a vessel.
Step 3
Add 1/2 cup coconut milk and cover the top.the mushrooms will take some minutes too cook.you can cook the mushrooms on a low to medium flame.the water should dry up completely and the mushrooms should become golden from sides.
Step 4
Warm the oil in a pan and add crushed ginger garlic,grated coconut and curry leaves.stir for a few seconds.
Step 5
Add chopped onion,salt and cook until soft.
Step 6
Add chopped tomato and cook, stirring often, for a few minutes.
Step 7
Next, add cooked mushroom cook for 4 to 5 minutes on a low flame till the mixture becomes dry and the masala has coated the mushrooms.
Step 8
Mushroom Roast is ready.
Tip
A heavy-bottomed pan or cast iron skillet gives you the best results for a proper Kerala fry. Thin pans burn the spices before the meat dries.
