Muringayila Thoran
Drumstick leaves are highly nutritiou.It is rich in protein,vitamin and iron,all of this are important for all group.
Ingredientsfor 4 servings
- 1 tsp Coconut oil
- 4 cup Drumstick leaves
- 4 Onion
- 1 cup Coconut — grated
- 5 Garlic
- 1 tsp Cumin seeds
- 2 Red chilli
- 1 tsp Mustard
- 1 tsp Chilli powder
- 1 tsp Turmeric powder
- 2 tsp Salt
Preparation
Step 1
Wash and clean muringayila.
Step 2
Warm the oil in a kadai, add mustards, When it allow to crackles add red chilli and Let it cook for 2 minutes.
Step 3
Add muringayila to this and Let it cook for 2 minutes.
Step 4
Grind grated coconut, cumin seeds, onion, garlic, chilli powder and turmeric powder in a mixer,.
Step 5
Add this ground mix to drum stick leaves. Let it cook for 5 minutes a low flame,.
Step 6
Mix all together well and stir for 2 minutes.
Step 7
Now muringayila thorn is ready.
Tip
Shred the vegetable as fine as you can — the thinner the cuts, the better the thoran. A sharp knife makes all the difference.
