Muringa Ela Dosa
Soaked parboiled rice/kuthari ground to a fine batter with grated coconut and mixed with drumstick leaves for preparing dosa.
Ingredientsfor 2 servings
- 1/2 glass Parboiled rice Kuthari
- 1/2 cup Drumstick leaves Muringa ela
- 1/4 Of Coconut — grated
- Salt, to taste
- Oil For applying on tawa
Preparation
Step 1
For preparing muringa ela dosa, first soak kuthari in sufficient water for 5 hours.
Step 2
Wash and drain rice. Grind the rice to a fine batter by adding little water.
Step 3
Stir in grated coconut and grind again. Do not make the batter watery.
Step 4
Add required salt and stir in drumstick leaves. Stir everything together thoroughly.
Step 5
Heat a tawa and apply some oil. Roll out dosas and fry to a golden brown color on both sides.
Step 6
Muringa ela dosa, a nutritious and easy to prepare dish, is ready. Serve hot.
Tip
The pan must be properly hot before you pour the batter. Sprinkle a few drops of water — if they sizzle and evaporate immediately, the temperature is right.
