Muringa Ela Chicken Soup
A light, warming broth seasoned with black pepper and curry leaves. This is not the kind of soup that tries to be a meal — it is the kind that settles the stomach, clears the head, and warms you from the inside.
Ingredientsfor 3 servings
- 1 cup Drumstick leaves Muringa ela
- 1 nos Onion — sliced
- 1/2 cup Chicken
- 1/2 tsp Pepper powder
- 3 Pods Garlic
- 2 tbsp Corn flour mixed with water
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 5 cup Water
Preparation
Step 1
For preparing muringa ela chicken soup, cook the chicken with salt and pepper. Remove bones and chop well.
Step 2
Fry garlic in oil and set aside.
Step 3
Fry the onion in the same oil.
Step 4
Add the drumstick leaves to it and fry well.
Step 5
Pour water, chicken to it and boil.
Step 6
Add rest of the ingredients, give it a good stir and take it from flame.
Step 7
Muringa ela chicken soup is ready. Serve hot.

Tip
Bone-in chicken gives a richer, more flavourful gravy than boneless. The marrow flavours the curry as it cooks.
