Masala Macaroni (Step By Step Photos)

- 200 g Macaroni boiled
- 1 Carrot
- 100 g Cabbage
- 1 Tomato
- 3 Chilly
- Capsicum half
- Coriander leaves, to taste
- 1 inch Ginger
- 1 Egg
- ½ tsp Chili powder
- 1 tsp Coriander powder
- ½ tsp Chat masala
- Salt, to taste
- Oil, to taste
Preparation
Step 1
For preparing Masala Macaroni, first chop onion, chilly, capsicum, coriander, ginger and tomato. Grate cabbage and carrot.
Step 2
Set a kadai over medium heat and pour in the oil.
Step 3
When the oil is heated, add onion and cook until it has softened.
Step 4
Add cabbage and fry for a minute.
Step 5
Add chillies and capsicum and sauté.
Step 6
Add the rest of the ingredients except tomato and fry for 3 minutes.
Step 7
Stir in tomato and fry for about 2 minutes.
Step 8
Add chilly powder, coriander powder, chat masala and salt and fry.
Step 9
The vegetable should be cooked three fourth, Give it a stir now and then until that. Do not add water, the water in the vegetables are enough.
Step 10
Scramble egg in another vessel. Add salt necessary for the egg. Mix the scrambled egg to the vegetable mixture.
Step 11
Add the macaroni and mix it well and fry till the masala is blended with macaroni.
Step 12
Goes well with the sauce.
Tip
Do not rush the onion and shallot frying. The difference between pale onions and properly browned onions is the difference between a flat dish and a flavourful one.
