Mango Coconut Chutney
Ground fresh and served immediately, this chutney hits all the right notes — heat from the chillies, richness from coconut, and a sharp tang that cuts through rich curries and fried foods.

- 5 - Raw mangoes
- 2 nos Madras onions (Kunjulli)
- 4 nos Green chillies
- 1/2 cup Coconut — grated
- Salt, to taste
- Curry leaves A, a few
Preparation
Step 1
Grind together raw mango pieces and coconut.
Step 2
When the ingredients are partially ground, add green chillies, onion and curry leaves and grind again.
Step 3
Please do not grind the ingredients finely.
Step 4
Add salt and Stir everything together thoroughly with a spoon.
Step 5
Goes well with dosa, idli, rice or spread evenly on a bread slice.
