Manga Perukku
A tangy kichadi made with mangoes, curd and coconut- Ramya V.
Ingredientsfor 4 servings
- 1 nos Mango yellow, but not fully ripe
- 1/2 cup Curd
- 3 tbsp Coconut
- 2 nos Green chillies
- 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
- Salt, to taste
- 1/4 tsp Mustard seeds
- 2 nos Dry red chillies (Kollamulaku)
- 1 sprig Curry leaves
- 1 tsp Oil
Preparation
Step 1
Grind together coconut, mustard and green chillies.
Step 2
Mix together grated mango, curd and coconut paste.
Step 3
Add salt and Stir everything together thoroughly.
Step 4
Pour oil into a pan and heat it.
Step 5
Let the mustard seeds crackle.
Step 6
Add dry red chilly and curry leaves and cook for a second.
Step 7
Add the above seasoning into the curry.
Tip
